Description: On August 25, 2022, Plaintiffs went to a local deli to get something to eat when they were stopped, handcuffed and arrested by Officers Janny Carrasquillo and John Doe. Plaintiffs were brought to precinct 43 where they were left in a cell for hours and then subjected to a strip search. After no unlawful or illegal items were recovered the plaintiffs were then placed in Bronx Central Booking where they were subjected to harassment from other prisoners.

Description: On September 14, 2018, the plaintiff was unlawfully stopped, seized, searched, assaulted and arrested by the defendant PO including POs Janny Carrasquillo and Petar Simonovic without any reasonable suspicion of unlawful behaviour. The defendants falsely accused the plaintiff of crimes including possession and sale of marijuana and illegally searched the plaintiff without finding any marijuana on him. The plaintiff was then taken to the 46th Precinct where the plaintiff was fingerprinted, photographed, strip-searched and detained. The charges were dismissed on January 16, 2019.
