Description: On December 16, 2022, Defendants Ricco and the other unnamed Police Defendants unlawfully arrested Plaintiff Gonzales while he was operating Plaintiff Gonzales's mobile convenience store. Plaintiff Perez was arrested near his home, and despite being 16 weeks pregnant Plaintiff Rosario was arrested while attempting to help her husband, Plaintiff Perez after he was arrested. Plaintiff Gonzales attempted to inform the Defendants of the pregnancy, but was then violently thrown into the air and tazed. All three Plaintiffs were subject to tight handcuffs during the arrest. Description: On November 17, 2020, the plaintiff, an ethnic minority with a disability, was lawfully present on a street in the Bronx when he was unlawfully stopped and searched, assaulted, battered, and arrested without probable cause by defendant officers Luis Sotomayor and Fausto Ramirez, and John/Jane Doe #1-4. During the arrest, excessive force was used against the Plaintiff resulting in severe injuries. At the precinct, the defendants lied, fabricated allegations, and forwarded false evidence to the DA, which led to the plaintiff's arraignment. Other defendants who were present while this unlawful conduct occurred failed to intervene.
