Complaint
Description: On January 29, 2021, Plaintiff was inside of a Chopped Cheese waiting for their order to be prepared when police officers entered the establishment and grabbed the Plaintiff, twisting their arm. Plaintiff was accused of selling contraband and illegal substances. Despite doing nothing improper, defendant officers placed Plaintiff's hands behind their back and took them in a police vehicle. The Plaintiff was taken to the precinct where they were strip searched without any probable cause. Plaintiff was later taken to Central Booking and had to appear in court. The District Attorney declined to prosecute the charges.
