Description: On October 21, 2023, the plaintiff, Adam El Sayad, participated in a peaceful protest in solidarity with the people of Gaza in Brooklyn New York. The protest included peaceful marching along streets that the NYPD had blocked off with cars. In the evening, the NYPD abruptly halted the protest, and pushed protestors, which resulted in a crush of people, and the plaintiff was trapped in the crowd. When the plaintiff was helping someone who had fallen down, he was pushed by an NYPD officer and it caused the plaintiff to fall backwards.
