Description: On July 24, 2013 Plaintiff was lawfully present at a residence he was staying overnight as a guest in Staten Island. It is believed that defendant NYPD Officer Corporan approached Plaintiff and attempted to search Plaintiff's pants pockets due to racial discrimination rather than particularized suspicion of a crime. Plaintiff was then tightly handcuffed, and his handcuffs were not loosened despite his complaints, and he was imprisoned in a police vehicle and taken to the 121st Precinct. Plaintiff was imprisoned and charged based on false allegations purported by defendant officer Joseph Perfetto.
