Description: On or about October 5, 2023, Plaintiff was lawfully walking on the sidewalk in Manhattan when he was unlawfully stopped, detained, and restrained by Defendant NYPD officers, including Officer Jacob Aaronson, Officer Shaun Marks, and others. The officers had no reasonable suspicion or probable cause to stop or arrest Plaintiff. Defendant also did not have a warrant to arrest. They handcuffed Plaintiff excessively tight upon his wrists, causing severe pain, and leg shackled him. Defendant officers then forced him into a mobile police unit where he was left in a painful stress position for about 30 minutes, resulting in loss of consciousness due to the pain.
