Description: On or about June 2nd, 2018, Plaintiff was lawfully at the Bergen Station subway station. Plaintiff walked through the turnstile to the platform when he was ordered by PO Johnny Cardenas to return through the gate and exit the subway station. PO Cardenas asked for Plaintiff's identification which was provided to him. Plaintiff informed the officers that he had dutifully paid the fair and was going to his mother's house. PO Cardenas, PO Jasim Uddin and PO Murray of the NYPD then slammed Plaintiff against the wall. Plaintiff was told to put his hands behind his back but instead he questioned why he was being detained.
