Description: Some preliminary information is required. The Plaintiffs, Lori Dejesus (LORI) and Steven Dejesus (STEVEN) are married. Plaintiff Lori's mother and aunt took over a first floor apartment in Brooklyn before Lori's grandmother died. The Plaintiffs moved into the apartment on October 15, 2012 pursuant to a signed rental lease agreement with Lori's mother. The lease included the first floor apartment, basement, garage and backyard. Lori's aunt and uncle, Doris and Walwyn Stuart, lived in the second floor apartment. Doris passed away in October 2012.
