Complaint
Description: On September 12, 2023, at around 4:30PM, Defendant Officers approached and falsely accused Plaintiff of a criminal act before illegally seizing him aggressively. They tackle Plaintiff, threw him onto the ground, and dragged him across the ground. Defendant Officer Richardson shot Plaintiff twice with a taster, with the razor-sharp prongs piercing his skin. Plaintiff’s arms were violently placed in handcuffs, with Defendant Officer’s placing their knees on Plaintiff’s back. Plaintiff experiences bruises, swelling, bleeding, and pain and discomfort all over his body. Plaintiff asked for the handcuffs to be loosened and was denied. Plaintiff was detained for over 55 hours until he was released.
