Description: On or about June 21, 2021, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Edras Rivera Rodriguez was in police custody at the 41st Precinct in the Bronx when NYPD officers, including Anthony Rappoccio and Sergey Pogosyan, allegedly used excessive force. Despite Rodriguez informing the officers of prior surgeries on his legs and feet, the officers proceeded to tighten his handcuffs and stomp on his surgically repaired foot, causing significant damage. As a result, Rodriguez required additional surgeries and continues to suffer from physical, psychological, and economic harm​.
