Complaint
Description: Plaintiff, a woman with known mental health issues, was displaying loud behavior in her apartment, prompting her building supervisor to call 911 for an ambulance. Officers from the 43rd Precinct and EMTs arrived at the apartment, along with Plaintiff's sister. Although Plaintiff posed no threat and was alone in her apartment, Defendant Officer Hugh Barry shot her. Plaintiff was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
