Description: Defendant Officer arrested Plaintiff in connection with a brawl that had recently taken place nearby and coercively interrogated him until late the next night and put him into a suggestive lineup, until Plaintiff decided to falsely confess. Plaintiff was charged with Murder in the Second Degree, Manslaughter in the First Degree, and Gang Assault in the First Degree. He was indicted on lesser charges and held at Rikers for 5 months until all his charges were eventually dismissed.
