Complaint
Description: On October 5, 2017 plaintiff was riding his electric bicycle when several police approached from an unmarked vehicle with guns drawn. The Police told Plaintiff he was operating the bicycle without a license and asked for ID. Plaintiff responded that he did not need a license to operate an electric bike. One of the police officers then stated to another that plaintiff was on parole. Plaintiff told the police that he had just reported for his last day of parole that day. The police refused to verify this and arrested the plaintiff. All charges against plaintiff were ultimately dismissed.
