Complaint
Description: On or about December 29, 2020, Plaintiff was lawfully in his vehicle in the vicinity of 5320 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn New York when NYPD Officers, including PO Nicholas Sanchez, approached him without legal justification. Despite lacking reasonable suspicion or probable cause to believe Plaintiff committed any crimes, Officers unlawfully stopped and searched Plaintiff. Officers then placed Plaintiff in handcuffs and under arrest without lawful justification. When Officers, including PO Sanchez, transported Plaintiff to the police precinct, they falsely informed the DA's Office that Plaintiff committed various crimes.
