Description: On or about May 1, 2022, the plaintiffs, Oliver Louis and Shantel Wilson, called 911 to report an assault and battery committed against them. However, when the officers arrived, defendant officer Sherpa Tshering and defendant officers John/Jane Doe 1-10, placed plaintiffs under arrest despite the lack of any basis to believe they committed any crimes. There was no basis to justify any arrest or search of the plaintiffs. Plaintiff Shantel Wilson was not charged with any crimes and released. Plaintiff Oliver Louis was caused to be detained for approximately 7 hours until he was issued a desk appearance ticket due to the illegal nature of his arrest and confinement.
