Description: On October 21, 2016, around 11:30 PM near East 149th Street and Third Avenue, Plaintiff Charles Suazo was stopped and frisked when Defendant Officers Ryan Blair, Alexis Dejesus, John Doe, and John Roe summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, handcuffed, assaulted, battered, and detained him using excessive force. Plaintiff was taken to an unidentified precinct and to the Bronx Criminal Courthouse. While in Defendant Officer's custody, Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search and assault of his head, neck, back, body, and limbs. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours prior to release, and was then required to make numerous court appearances before the charges were terminated on June 12, 2019.

Description: On August 14, 2013, at approximately 2:00 p.m., plaintiff was sitting on a park bench across from his aunt's house as he waited for her to come home. While sitting on the bench, he was apprehended, wrongfully accused of possession of marujuana, and arrested by NYPD officers, including Sergeant Edson Garcia and Officer Alexis DeJesus. Despite finding no contraband, plaintiff was detained, strip-searched, and held for hours with no food or water before being released with a desk appearance ticket. He was arraigned on October 9, 2013, but all charges were dismissed on January 14, 2014.
