Description: On February 13, 2015, Plaintiff's 17-year-old son, who has a disability, was subject to excessive force at school by agents from the NYPD's School Safety Division. While School Safety Agents Ruperto and Barrios were physically moving the son to the dean's office, they pushed the son from behind, causing him to land head and face first on the floor. The son experienced a concussion, contusions, and loss of consciousness. Joseph Burbano pressed his knee into the son's neck and head during and after putting the son in handcuffs.
