Complaint
Description: On February 3, 2022, Plaintiff was asleep on the couch in his friends living room inside 1343 Washington Avenue in the Bronx, when multiple Defendant Officers kicked open the front door and burst into the apartment. Defendant Officers poured into the apartment with their guns drawn and pointed at Plaintiff. Defendant Officers grabbed Plaintiff from the couch, pinned his arms behind his back, and bound his hands with metal handcuffs. Despite Plaintiff’s repeated pleas for information, none of the Defendant Officers explained why Plaintiff was being arrested. On April 7, 2022, after several months and approximately seven court appearances, all charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.
