Description: On September 9, 2013, at approximately 3:30pm at the Nassau Ave. G Train subway station at Nassau and Manhattan Avenues in Brooklyn, defendant police officer Recchia accosted and forcibly detained plaintiff without lawful basis. Plaintiff, a 16-year old boy, and two fellow high school friends were walking home from school and stopped at the intersection of Nassau and Manhattan Avenues, before entering the train station. Defendant Recchia approached the plaintiff and his friends, telling them to "shut the fuck up" and "get the fuck off my corner".
