Description: On or about May 13, 2019, plaintiff was being transported on a DOC bus from a courthouse back to Vernon C. Bain Center where he was an incarcerated inmate. Defendants John/Jane Doe 1-10 were correction officers and other staff employed by the Department of Corrections ("DOC"). While on the DOC bus, another inmate on the bus slashed the plaintiff's face with a scalpel weapon that he illegally possessed, causing severe scarring and facial disfigurement that required 75 stitches. Description: Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff 1 as he was about to enter his home, demanded to go inside, and Officer Luti pushed him. After Plaintiff 2 witnessed this and was intimidated, he allowed officers to enter the home. Officer Luti put Plaintiff 1 in a headlock while Officer Rodriguez repeatedly punched him. Officers continued to assault him, then handcuffed him, brought him to the 73rd Precinct, and charged him with OGA, Resisting Arrest, Attempted Assault in the Third Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree, which were all eventually dismissed.
