Description: On December 20, 2016, Plaintiff was driving with two intoxicated passengers in his car. The passengers were fighting each other and Plaintiff stopped his car and exited the car to seek help. Plaintiff had stopped in Co-op City in the Bronx. Police officers and others came to the scene. Defendant POs was then arrested without probable or reasonable cause and without justification taken to a holding cell and searched within the premises of Co-op City. When Plaintiff exited the store he saw an MTA employee he was distantly familiar with being followed by a man yelling threats and holding a box cutter. When Plaintiff asked if the MTA employee if he was okay the man with the knife turned and began to threaten Plaintiff.
