Description: On June 14, 2019, plaintiff, Troy Campbell, was walking to a nearby gas station in the area of Brooklyn, NY. Without any evidence indicating plaintiff had committed a crime, he was illegally stopped, handcuffed, frisked and placed into an NYPD patrol car by defendant officers Shawn Mood, Andrew Burke, Jane/John Doe #'s 1-10 and sergeant Brian Koo. The plaintiff was taken to the 75th Precinct where he was tightly handcuffed and forced to the ground under the full body weight of officers Mood, Burke and Jane/John Doe #'s 1-10, causing severe pain and injuries, despite the fact that the plaintiff did not resist or act in a threatening manner at any point.
