Complaint
Description: On August 7, 2019, at approximately 8:00 a.m. near 127 Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Jones was allegedly targeted by police officers, including Officers Marte and Pearson, due to his race. While walking, he was confronted, assaulted, and punched in the face by these officers, leaving him with facial scars, before being forcibly thrown to the ground. Jones claims he did not provoke the officers, who did not identify themselves as law enforcement and had no probable cause to stop or arrest him.
