Description: On November 12, 2022, at approximately 2:00 A.M., Plaintiff was assaulted by a group of approximately five unknown males outside of La Reina Restaurant, located at 1940 University Avenue, Bronx, NY 10453, and subsequently on West Burnside Avenue which one of the assailants punched Plaintiff in the face, and at least one of them stabbed Plaintiff in the chest. Following the assault, Plaintiff entered his vehicle, and called 911 and an ambulance arrived and transported Plaintiff to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated for his wounds. Later on, the morning of November 12, 2022, P.O. JOHN DOES, arrived at the hospital to ask Plaintiff what happened. Shortly thereafter, a different PO, arrived at the hospital...

Description: On November 23, 2015, plaintiff Emmanuel Enang was in the lobby of the 1895 University Avenue building in the Bronx when Defendant NYPD Officers Dino Davilla and Frankly Galindo responded to a family dispute. Plaintiff's brother's girlfriend had called the police in an attempt to evict plaintiff from his residence, his deceased grandmother's apartment, so plaintiff showed the police his ID, mail, and old rent checks when they arrived. Plaintiff became agitated after his brother's girlfriend insulted his deceased grandmother and hit his TV with a hammer as the responding officers stood in the hallway in front of the master bedroom in his apartment.
