Description: On October 6, 2011, Plaintiff, a black man, was walking on the sidewalk in Brooklyn when NYPD in a vehicle asked him where he was going and Plaintiff responded that he was going the fuck home. Defendants exited the police vehicle and punched Plaintiff in the face, handcuffed him, continued to punch him in the head, brought him to the 81st precinct station house, and then the Woodhull Medical Center. Defendants later maliciously prosecuted Plaintiff on false claims that Plaintiff walked into traffic, refused to provide officers identification, and told officers he would kill them. Plaintiff was eventually acquitted by a jury of all false charges levied against him. Defendants' misconduct caused physical injury...
