Description: On August 5, 2022, at approximately 10:35pm, Plaintiff KEVION REID was standing in front of 766 Castle Hill Avenue, Bronx, NY when he was tackled by Defendant NYPD officers YAHNNY ARIAS and DANIEL DAVILA without probable cause or legal justification. Plaintiff, who was fearful for his life, was able to get to his feet and flee from the officers before being tackled again and handcuffed. While Plaintiff was handcuffed, he was punched in the face and then searched. The Defendant officers claimed to have found a firearm at or near the vicinity in which Plaintiff had been located.
