Complaint
Description: On May 26, 2020, Plaintiff was lawfully on the street when he was approached by P.O.s including Officer Jonathan Keith. With no probably cause, Plaintiff was stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered and detained. P.O.s use aggression while arresting Plaintiff. Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search and remained incarcerated for over 24 hours. While in custody, P.O.s pushed, assaulted and battered Plaintiff, causing injury to his head, neck, back, body and limbs. Plaintiff was prosecuted based on false allegations by P.O.s until charges against Plaintiff were eventually terminated favorably.

Description: On August 25, 2017, Plaintiff was arrested by P.O. Jonathan Keith for allegedly making threats to members of the NYPD. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct where he was placed in a detention cell. While in the cell, Plaintiff complained of chest palpitations, upon which he was taken by ambulance to St. Barnabas Hospital. Plaintiff remained in custody of P.O.s including Officer Jonathan Keith while at the hospital, and he remained handcuffed to a hospital bed.
