Charges were later dismissed 30.30Second Incident: Plaintiff was near the park when he was approached by and undercover soliciting drugs. Description: On January 6, 2011, plaintiff left his work and got into his vehicle. He was stopped by officers, who removed plaintiff's cell phone from his hands upon plaintiff saying that he "did not speak much english." Plaintiff was asked by defendant officers what the pills in his car were, to which plaintiff responded that it was diabetes medication. Plaintiff was unlawfully detained and taken to the precinct. All charges against plaintiff were eventually dismissed.

Description: On February 22, 2013, at 360 Dumont Ave, Brooklyn, NY, a New York City Housing Authority building, POs Pedigo and Ravich assaulted Plaintiff while inside and outside the building's elevator. While in the elevator, Plaintiff tried to use his phone to photograph the POs badge number after Officer Ravich banged one of another elevator occupants' heads. PO Pedigo prevented Plaintiff from exiting the elevator, falsely accusing him of bumping PO Ravich. PO Pedigo pushed Plaintiff to the back of the elevator and then PO Ravich pushed Plaintiff out of the elevator. Description: On February 7, 2012, Plaintiffs Shakeem Boykins, Kevin Wint, Princeton Antoine were leaving the Brooklyn apartment of an acquaintance with two younger boys when they were attacked by police officers in civilian clothes and unformed police officers. While there are named officers in the complaint, the causes of action do not specifically identify the officers. At one point, one of the boys was struck with what appeared to be a walkie-talkie. Claims in the complaint are for false arrest and excessive force, among others.
