Description: On January 18, 2014, Alfredo Reyes was assaulted. Plaintiff did not assault Reyes. Mr. Reyes described the assailant as "short," "close cut" hair, 6'2" tall, weighed 190 pounds, and did not have an accent. Plaintiff is 5'9", weighs approximately 150-160 pounds, has long dreadlocks, and has an accent. When shown a picture of Plaintiff, Mr. Reyes said he "looks like the person who cut him without the hair." Detective Godino showed Mr. Reyes surveillance video of the attack and improperly suggested to him that Plaintiff was the assailant. On March 1, 2024, Plaintiff was arrested.
