Complaint
Description: On November 10, 2010, Plaintiff was lawfully present in his apartment when NYPD Officers, including Defendant Castro, knocked on the door. Defendant Castro showed the Plaintiff a picture of who the officers were looking for, and Plaintiff responded he did not recognize him nor did he live there. Defendant Castro ordered the Plaintiff to open the door to his apartment, and Plaintiff complied opening the door slightly. Defendant Castro said, "You don't know him? Are you sure he isn't hiding in your apartment?" to which Plaintiff responded he did not and he was not hiding in his apartment. Plaintiff was ordered to exit his apartment, and when Plaintiff refused, Defendant Castro grabbed him and violently pulled him...
