Description: This complaint consists of allegations arising from three (3) dates involving two (2) plaintiffs: Aaron Tyler (Plaintiff 1) and Telisha Blakney (Plaintiff 2). Plaintiffs 1 and 2 live together in Brooklyn.
On January 2, 2012 at 9PM defendants P.O. Kadia Saundres, Sergeant Luis Machado, Detective Michael Manzolillo, Sergeant Brennan Daniel and two unnamed officers (Defendant Officers) attended Plaintiff 1's home, assaulted and arrested him. He was not told the reason for his arrest even upon inquiry. He was later charged with alleged witness tampering and detained at Riker's Island for five days. He was maliciously prosecuted for several months before the charges were summarily dismissed.

Description: On August 17, 2012, plaintiff was lawfully inside the premises of 121 Van Buren Street, in Brooklyn, NY. Defendant officers approached plaintiff and arrested her for an incident which allegedly occurred on July 13, 2012. Plaintiff was taken to the 79th Precinct, then Brooklyn Central Booking, where she was arraigned on August 18, 2012 on charges of Assault, Menacing and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and other charges. Plaintiff was held in custody until August 18, 2012 when she was released on her own recognizance. Defendants caused plaintiff to be prosecuted until January 23, 2013 when all charges were dismissed and sealed.
