Description: On September 28, 2017, plaintiffs Oliver Fernandez, Frederick Then, Luisaury Gonzalez, and Esmeralda Santa were in each others companies' lawfully. While lawfully congregating, defendant NYPD-officers, including Officer Emmanuel Jaime (Shield No. 18419), approached the plaintiffs without probable cause. Subsequently, defendants arrested each plaintiff forcefully. Defendants lacked any reasonable suspicion or probable cause to substantiate such arrests. Plaintiffs were each held in custody, and required to make numerous court appearances. Ultimately, all charges brought due to the defendants' actions were terminated in favor of the plaintiffs.
