Description: On January 27 2022 the Plaintiffs were lawfully inside their residence when NYPD Officer Christopher Ascazubi, Henningston Bernard, Rafael Melendez, and John or Jane Doe unlawfully knocked the door and ignored requests for a warrant and entered without probable cause. The Officers proceeded to seize the Plaintiff and conduct an unlawful search of his clothing and items without any legal basis. The Officers then violently applied excessively tight handcuffs causing more pain before transporting the Plaintiff to the 30th Precinct.
