Description: On January 7, 2017, plaintiff was unlawfully arrested by defendants at the corner of Verona and Van Brunt Streets in Brooklyn, NY. Shortly before his arrest, plaintiff encountered an individual known to him injured on the sidewalk. Defendants arrived. Defendant Doe 1, a white officer with glasses, pushed plaintiff. Defendant Doe 2, a Hispanic officer, punched plaintiff in the face. Plaintiff attempted to leave. Plaintiff was tasered from behind while attempting to leave. Plaintiff was taken to the hospital to have the taser removed from his body. Plaintiff was held in custody and released under twenty-four hours later when plaintiff accepted an ACD.
