Description: On or about March 22, 2018, NYPD Police Officer Jose Romero, Sergeant Carlos Morales, Police Officer Lauren Amin, and two additional unidentified police officers approached the plaintiff in the vicinity of 505 East 144th Street in the Bronx, where they stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained the plaintiff without reason. Thereafter, the plaintiff was subject to a strip search and falsely and maliciously prosecuted. As a result of the excessive force used to batter plaintiff, plaintiff was caused serious, severe, painful, and permanent bodily injuries.

Plaintiff began running when he saw an officer aggressively get out of the police car and was chased and tackled by that officer. Plaintiff was assaulted by the officers and taken to the 44th precinct. At the precinct, one officer rubbed a tissue on Plaintiff's hands and then on a gun. Plaintiff was released after being fingerprinted with no charges.
