Description: On December 2, 2020, Ashaun Bryant was unlawfully stopped, detained, battered and assaulted, seized and searched, and falsely arrested by or at the direction of Defendants officers, including Gonzalez, Maloney, Verendia, and John or Jane Doe 1-10, in the area of 2594 Valentine Avenue in Bronx County. Mr. Bryant was in the vicinity where other non-party individuals were engaged in a physical altercation that Mr. Bryant did not take part in. Without a warrant, probable cause, or any legal justification Defendant officers appeared and detained Mr. Bryant.
