Description: On April 26, 2020, Plaintiff Bobby Hyde was sitting in his car in the vicinity of 163-18 115 Avenue, Queens County. Defendants, Officers Scalcione, Leboff, and John Does, arrived and unlawfully ordered plaintiff to exit the car, handcuffed him, and arrested him. After arresting plaintiff, they transported him to the 113 police precinct, subjected him to a strip search, confined him to a cell, and charged him falsely with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Description: On December 27, 2018, Emile Westmoreland came outside of his home to discover Officers Scalcione and Ernyey talking with his mother on the street. Westmoreland learned that the officers were going to ticket his nephew, Clinton. When Clinton went to speak with the officers, Officer Ernyey lunged at him, at which point Westmoreland moved his hand up to protect his nephew. Officer Scalcione then hit Westmoreland in the side of the head with his police radio, leaving Westmoreland unconscious. Westmoreland was handcuffed and brought to the precinct before being transferred to Central Bookings.
