Defendants falsely concluded that the child died of Shaken Baby Syndrome and charged both Plaintiff and her husband with Manslaughter in the First Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Description: On or about June 16 Plaintiff was awarded temporary custody of child F.J.S-R. and the child's father was awarded weekly visitation. Thereafter Plaintiff reported to ACS the father was returning F.J.S-R. in poor health, sometimes with swelling to private areas. These instances were corroborated by hospital staff and the child's pediatrician, who suggested visits be suspended until an investigation was conducted.
