Tavarez and Officer Thomas as they placed her boyfriend under arrest with unnecessary roughness. Tavarez demanded she stop filming, despite not interfering with them in any way, and proceeded to push her into the car, punch her in the face (causing her to briefly lose consciousness),and grab hold of her hair to bang her head into the car. Description: On July 7, 2016, plaintiff was participating in a protest against police brutality when he was arrested for civil disobedience. During the arrest plaintiff was unjustifiably thrown to the ground and assaulted by defendant police officers. Description: On June 7, 2014 in Brooklyn, Plaintiff asked Officers of the NYPD what they were doing when they were allegedly arresting and assaulting the father of Plaintiff's child.
