Description: On or about January 30, 2023 Plaintiffs Mitchell, Nowell, and Delarosa were harassed by a neighbor, who struck Plaintiff Mitchell with a cane on her face, mouth, eyes, and body, and pepper-sprayed and stabbed Plaintiff Delarosa multiple times. Plaintiff Mitchell called 911 and PO Steven Nunezbourdierd and other POs responded. POs stopped the neighbor, who was attempting to flee with the weapon and blood on his clothes. Plaintiffs then explained the circumstances of the attack but POs failed to conduct a proper investigation and instead arrested Plaintiffs Mitchell and Nowell, affixing too-tight cuffs to their wrists. All charges against the Plaintiff were unconditionally dismissed.
