Description: On October 7, 2022, The Plaintiffs Caziah & Michael Herrera (herein, "Plaintiffs") were approached and then assaulted, while being lawfully present at at or about the premises known as 2297 Cedar Avenue, in the County of Bronx, by police officers: SERGEANT RYAN JAFFE, JOSE ROSA, and COLIN COUGHLAN. The assault and battery consisted of being grabbed, thrown to the ground, shot with a Taser and/or other conductive energy device; and was forcefully placed in handcuffs. The plaintiffs were taken into police custody and then was put into an ambulance where they was transferred to North General Hospital for medical treatment of his injuries while remaining in police custody.
