They accused Davis of possessing illegal contraband and unlawfully searched his vehicle, but did not find anything. Description: On or about midnight on February 28, 2014 or March 1, 2014, Defendant Serpanos (a corrections officer but not acting in his official capacity) rear-ended Plaintiff's car. Defendant Serpanos called 911 and falsely accused Plaintiff of drunkeness, weapons, and drugs. Serpanos punched Plaintiff in the chest. Defendant NYPD Lieutenant Gutierrez and Officers John Does 1-5 responded and forcefully restrained Plaintiff against his car, straining his arms, tearing muscles in his shoulders and neck, and causing a concussion. Defendants detained Plaintiff on the street for about an hour before he was ultimately released.
