Description: On or about September 25, 2016, police officers (John and Jane Doe 1-10) falsely arrested and imprisoned plaintiff upon the charge of felonious assault. Plaintiff contends that the surveillance video of the incident showed the assailant as having a tatoo on his right arm, and the plaintiff only had a tatoo on his left arm, and therefore could not have been the perpetrator of the crime alleged. Nonetheless, plaintiff remained confined until November 30, 2016, when he was released. Charges were ultimately dismissed on October 2, 2017.

Description: On January 22, 2015, plaintiff was in his home on 108th St, Elmhurst Queens, NY, in his bedroom when his mother told him police were there for him. Plaintiff went to the officers and they told him they had a warrant for him. Plaintiff went with the police officers. Officers placed plaintiff in a van and took him to the 115th precinct. At the precinct, officers took plaintiff to the second floor. A detective asked plaintiff if he knew why he was there and plaintiff said no and was told he had two warrants. Plaintiff was taken to an interrogation room and asked by Fogus about an attempted murder. Plaintiff had no information about an attempted murder or other crimes.
