Description: On October 11, 2018, Davon Hamilton was at his residence in the Bronx when NYPD officers, including John Avellino and Edin Bacovic, entered his home without a warrant and arrested him without probable cause. The officers allegedly used excessive force during the arrest, including applying tight handcuffs that caused physical discomfort. Hamilton was detained for approximately three days before being released, and all charges against him were dismissed on December 12, 2018. As a result, Hamilton suffered physical and emotional injuries, including pain from the handcuffs and the emotional distress from his wrongful arrest and detention.
