Description: On June 3, 2020, plaintiffs participated in a demonstration protesting the murder of George Floyd. Both plaintiffs were lawfully present and the protest was peaceful. About twenty unidentified NYPD officers raided the streets, corralled plaintiffs and prevented them from going anywhere. They kettled them into a prisoner van and moved them to a certain location where they began to assault and batter plaintiffs before arresting them on false charges. They knew their condcut was being recorded and they grabbed plaintiffs' phones and smashed them to the ground to destroy the evidence.
