Complaint
Description: On or about May 18, 2014, employees of the NYPD (Defendants Det. William Dunn and Shimicka Meadows, P.O. John Kelly, Jacob Aaronson, Anthony Baresi, Sarae Ramos-Tillman, and "John Doe"s #1-10) ran at Plaintiff, shot him multiple times, placed him in handcuffs, and arrested him on charges related to possessing a firearm, which he did not. Plaintiff suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized for several days. Defendants filled out false and misleading police reports stating that Plaintiff had pointed a firearm at a police officer. Plaintiff spent approximately 14 months in custody. In addition to physical injuries, Plaintiff sustained mental anguish, shock, and humiliation.
