Dejesus, Stephanie vs City of New York, et al.
Case # 152378/2020, Supreme Court - New York, May 29, 2020
Complaint
Description: On December 13, 2018, Plaintiff was arrested at 315 E. 102nd Street by defendant officers Scott and John Doe 1 & 2. When she pointed out that she was NOT the person they claimed her to be (they were looking for her sister), they continued with the arrest, using excessive force in effecting same despite her not resisting arrest, and thereby causing her sustained physical pain. Plaintiff contends that the arrest was the result of racial profiling on the part of the defendants.
