During the stop, the police officers assaulted the Plaintiff and used excessive force, including pushing and causing the Plaintiff’s face to be slammed against a hard surface, despite the Plaintiff not posing a threat to the safety of the officers nor actively resisting arrest or attempting to evade arrest. Description: On December 31, 2015, plaintiffs were out shopping when defendants (in plainclothes) approached plaintiffs with their guns drawn and grabbed them with force.
