Description: Plaintiff was riding his bike home when Defendant Officers followed him in a n unmarked car and opened their car door, striking Plaintiff's bike tires, and hit him with the bumper of the car. Plaintiff avoided falling over and rode home. Defendant Officers then arrived at his home, violently pushed open the door, and slammed one of the Plaintiff's against a wall. Officers then assaulted Plaintiff, arrested him, took him to the 75th Precinct, partially strip-searched him, and then charged him with various charges that were later dismissed.

Description: Plainclothes defendant officer ran into plaintiff's courtyard and approached plaintiff. Defendant officer physically assaulted plaintiff, handcuffed him and transported him to the 75th precinct. Plaintiff was charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and false personation. All charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal and were eventually dismissed. Less than one week later, the same defendant officer and john does came to the plaintiff's courtyard and verbally harassed him.

Description: On April 26, 2012, three officers knocked down the Plaintiff’s door without producing a warrant. They told the plaintiff they had a warrant and Officers Lafemina and Hansen handcuffed the Plaintiff and punched and kicked him while Sergeant Sumuylin watched. He was handcuffed so tightly that he experienced extreme numbness. The officers kicked his head, neck, legs, and groin area and punched him in the face and head. The Plaintiff yelled to Sumuylin to “Please stop then,” but Sumuylin did not intervene until officer Hansen pointed his weapon at the Plaintiff, at which point he told him to put the gun down and take the Plaintiff to the station. The beating lasted 5-7 minutes.

Description: On May 25, 2014, plaintiff was lawfully walking at or near the intersection of Alabama Avenue and New Lots Avenue in Kings County, NYC. Without any warning, the defendants approached plaintiff and began subjecting him to excessive force.
