Description: On October 23, 2014, Williams was leaving his home to go to work when he encountered two plainclothes NYPD officers inside his yard’s gate, one of whom was detective Paul Viar. An officer asked Williams who he was, Williams responded, and the officer showed Williams a photo of an individual for whom the P.O.s had an arrest warrant. Williams knew the person as the former owner of the house and informed officers of this, as well as of the fact that the warrant squad had visited two months prior about the same issue and had been made aware the individual no longer resided there.
